American Digital Monitoring
® Was Started in 1968 Originally as a Security Patrol and Guard Service in Washington State. Realizing the potential in alarm services during the early 1980’s a decision was made to offer Alarm System installation with monitoring services. As the company grew it began to offer services to other Alarm Companies in the form of wholesale monitoring and soon discontinued its Guard and Patrol Divisions. Throughout the 80’s and 90’s the company rapidly grew to one of the largest Retail and Wholesale Alarm Service companies in the Pacific Northwest. Then in late 1997 a decision was made to divest itself of the retail service operations in order to focus on the Wholesale Dealer Services to its existing Dealer base of over 20,000 Subscribers. Now with over 160,000 Subscribers and growing, American Digital Monitoring® is a leader in offering innovative products and services, at well below wholesale market pricing to its Authorized Dealers.

Is Your Existing Monitoring Center Response Too Slow? With most Monitoring Centers, all dispatching is performed at a single location offering one or two phone lines for the Dealer to send in his alarm signals using a handful of alarm formats with a digital dialer or possibly even a cellular transmitter backup. Once the alarm is received, they may try calling the premises and if no answer after a several attempts proceed to Police, Fire or Medical services. After providing the alarm information, the next step is to contact a responsible party for the alarm in process. This may take several more minutes as there can many people on the list with no one being available. As you can see, the time to process ONE alarm condition takes several minutes before the dispatcher can move on to the NEXT alarm. Plus, if the center is hit with multiple alarms, many of the signals begin to stand idle for several minutes before the dispatcher can close out ONE alarm condition and move on to the NEXT. Many Subscribers and Dealers rightfully begin to question the effectiveness of the service at this point.
